FAQs
Who is the surf coaching for?
- You, because you want to make a step forward in your surf abilities. As surfers we know that the physical skill alone is not sufficient by far. Being able to surf safely and confidently means having a vast background knowledge and constantly updating and refreshing it.

What languages is the coaching offered in?
- The main language of delivery will be English. Especially when the group is mixed. I can offer German, if that is more convenient.

Is equipment included?
- No. I am a traveling surf coach and do not offer rental equipment. You either bring your own or rent at the location where the coaching will be conducted. In most places I will be able to assist with that.

Do you offer beginner lessons?
- My program is mainly for people who have already started their surf journey and want to proceed to confidently and competently surfing green waves. I do respect the infrastructure of surf schools and camps all over the coastlines and am happy to refer you to qualified people.#Private beginner or intro sessions can be requested though.

Are there fixed times or dates?
- Surfing is highly dependent on the conditions and those change constantly. I will look at your level of experience in combination with the conditions of the day and details of the surf spot to find the best time window for you to progress. Flexibilty in timing will therefore be necessary.
In general we will prepare beforehand to narrow down the time window as accurately as possible. However be ready for last minute adjustments.

Do I need to book in advance?
- Yes. I am not conducting a regular surf school. The program is specific to the needs and desires of the client and highly individual. It requires us to interact before we start any surf coaching activities. I want to make sure that the quality comes first and therefore I need to be able to plan ahead.
